Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! May God continue to bless you with things to be thankful for- to be alive, for one, is good enough already!

Last year I wrote a thank you card to my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ and tucked it away in my Bible just so that I can randomly read the things I once were thankful for, and still likely am. Whenever I am feeling ungrateful I can turn to this card to remind me of all my blessings and to humble myself back down to thankfulness.

Congratulations Miss Gossip!

My good friend & business partner, Miss Gossip (Ronyea Thompson, for those who don’t know) just gave birth last night to a beautiful baby girl!!! YAY!!!!!!

Please lift her and her husband up in prayer as they embark on this new thing called Parenthood, and may God bless their new bundle of joy with much love & blessings.

11-11-11

I found on the web that the Number Eleven possesses the qualities of intuition, patience, honesty, sensitivity, and spirituality, and is idealistic. Others turn to people who are ‘Eleven’ for teaching and inspiration, and are usually uplifted by the experience. 

There are endless explanations, opinions, prophecies, and stories that are evolve around the number 11, however, that’s the one that stuck out to me! There are tons of couples getting married on 11-11-11, tons of Facebook statuses and Twitter feeds with endless meanings. What does 11-11-11 mean to you?

Things Get Crazy

Hi Dear Readers!

I just want to apologize because I have not blogged ONE bit for the past (don’t even count the days). BUT, my excuse is that I recently moved back to my home state of California, and things have been crazy. I don’t know who all has missed G.S. Blogs, but I hope there’s still some fans out there! Not only do I write these inspirational blogs for your eyes, but I write them for myself as well because it is really therapeutic. Things get crazy, but I feel really bad that I neglected to send out encouragement and uplifting words in the midst of it all. I’m back- Gossiper is back! I honestly can’t commit to full-time blogging RIGHT NOW, but slowly and surely I will be back to multiple-times-a-week posting. Lord willing! If you’re looking for a truly Loving relationship, it is very difficult to be in a relationship with someone who isn’t on the path to self-love.

Live. Love. Laugh.

Live- your best life to the fullest and right. A lot of people think this part of the phrase be reckless and do whatever you want to do. But really it means to live RIGHT, do RIGHT, and have integrity and heart in living.

Love- with all your heart and selflessly; not for anything in return; not for malicious reasons; but selflessly. Like in the fashion that God loves us. Little ol’, undeserving US.

Laugh- it’s the best medicine for sickness, heartbreak, poverty and pain. No one can stop you from smiling and laughing. See the light in things. Don’t take yourself so seriously where you can’t see the light in the darkness around you.

Just a quick word for all my single ladies (and whoever else this may apply to)!

Get a stamp made, dip it in your favorite color ink, and mash it on your forehead: SELF-APPROVED! Live by it, die by it, because that’s what you ought to be- Self-Approved. No one on this Earth can value you more than you; no one can validate you; no one else determines your self-worth except your SELF. There is a reason why some of the most important qualities to have starts with “self” -self-respect, self-esteem, self-worth, self-love- Those things don’t exist to the world around us if they don’t exist in the world withIN us. Self-approve yourself now because you won’t find quality in outside relationships until you find quality in your relationship with yourself.

In a world that is growing and evolving so fast it’s sometimes hard to keep up with the times. There’s always an update of some sort. Even when I log into my website to blog I am constantly seeing a prompter at the top of my screen that says “such and such” version is available UPDATE NOW! Looking For A Loving Relationship

If you’re looking for a truly Loving relationship, it is very difficult to be in a relationship with someone who isn’t on the path to self-love.

We don’t have to love ourselves perfectly to find awesome love, but we have to be on the path to self-love. This also means that whomever we choose to be in a relationship with should be on that path, too.

There will never be a perfect moment where we love ourselves perfectly and then we can be in a relationship. It’s a constant process of discovery with no end.
