G.O.S.S.I.P. Sister

Hello All and welcome to the first 2011 edition of My Life as A Wife. I took January off but I am proud to be back today! Lets see…I am still journeying. December was a good month.

You all have been following me for a while now and I will be the first to admit that any relationship have tests and marriage is no different. Since in this life we all will have tests and trials, the test is not the major issue. It’s how you view the test/situation and the action [...]

So as I continue this journey I am realizing that sometimes your personal goals have to be put on hold for the sake of the marriage and the direction it is moving in. I can’t lie its hard sometimes, but I guess that’s what sacrifice is all about.

The past few weeks have been tough, mentally. Not only did my husband lose his father, we drove to Los Angeles, California so he could plan the funeral and memorial services. Although I wasn’t that close to my father in law, it still hurt to watch my husband go through the emotional and mental loss. [...]

The past couple of months have been VERY busy for Rob and I. We don’t have as much time for each other as we would like while we continue to pursue our dreams. We support one another as we both follow our own personal goals but it is a balancing act, especially for a wife. [...]

So I am still on this journey trying to become a better person and wife. Life is all about change and learning and so far I am enjoying learning more about my role and changing for the better. I recently celebrated my one year wedding anniversary and it felt great.
