Find something to love about yourself every day, no matter who you are. We are all God’s people, born in love to love. When I read these messages even I am empowered and reminded all over again just how proud I am to be Black, and how unique and wonderfully made we are!

Why I love being black…I draw strength and courage from my ancestors whose shoulders I stand on that makes it possible for me to be me; a black educated woman who is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. I am forever grateful to the forerunners who’ve paved the way so that I can LIVE and not exist. I love everything about my blackness. From my high cheek bones and wide nose to the kinks in my hair, believe me…it don’t get no better! Saying it loud I’M BLACK & I’M PROUD!! ~

I love being a black woman because there are not any others like us! We naturally posses the style, grace, and beauty that others desire to have and pay top dollar to artificially recreate. I cant get enough of how my brown skin, full lips, curled hair, and curvy bottom demand attention and respect when I enter a room.

I love Black History Month because I always learn something new. Our history runs so deep, and I am discovering more and more that Black history is essentially American history! It’s a celebration to the race that had all odds against them. Anyone & everyone can celebrate the evolution of Black history because it is a reflection of the evolution of the world. Happy Black History Month to you, You, & YOU!
