“I have been waiting for you; I am your best friend; I am the one who understands you most; I am the love you seek; I am YOU.”Too often do I find myself looking for something or someone outside of me. Lately I have been seeing all these quotes about “you are the change you need.” Or “you are everything your heart desires.” And “it all starts and begins with you” type quotes. If God gives me everything that I need, then it is true that the power I need to fulfill my wants in life is within. I have the talents to excel in the workplace. I have the love to attract love. I have the smarts to figure out common sense and optimize opportunities that are presented before me. I have wisdom. I have alllll these things that God placed within me, all I need to do is access them and then utilize them; only then will I live more abundantly and have a fuller life.
No longer should we look outside of ourselves for the power we need to get by. You want love? Well, look inside, access the love you have for yourself, and give it out. You want more money? Well, dig inside and access that ambitiousness you have, work hard, stay focused, and optimize your opportunities. God gives us what we need- look inside and find it!
