Your Supporting Cast

Every now and then it is good to reassess your supporting cast, meaning the people you surround yourself with in life. Having a supporting cast is just as important as having faith in yourself. Sometimes you need your supporting cast to step in and believe in you when you may have doubts yourself or the projects you are trying to accomplish.

Since everyone is not going where you are going its ok to remove them from your cast, doesn’t mean you don’t love them, it just mean their input is not needed when it comes to vital decisions in your life or goals. Your supporting cast can be family members, friends, people in the industry you seek to be in, spiritual advisor, etc., but make no mistake by feeling obligated to put family or friends in your cast. Sometimes family and friends can hurt you or your dream more than anyone. A week or so ago I had to reevaluate my cast, although it was very hard to be honest with myself and wonder the intentions of certain individuals, it was a reevaluation that was long over due. Again doesn’t mean I don’t love these individuals deeply it just means we’re not on the same page in reference to my goals. So my question to you is, when is the last time you reevaluated the people in your life? Are the some there who don’t belong there? Until next time…
