Fear Factor

Here is an excerpt that I found on fear:

Conquer fear with action

“Your fears are not walls, but hurdles. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the conquering of it.” — Dan Millman

How do we conquer fear? With action. Millman says that action is the ONLY way to move through fear.

Fear aims to stop us in our tracks. When we step forward anyway, our anxiety eases. We begin to pay attention to what’s actually going on instead of being trapped in fearful speculation. When we’ve done it once, we can do it again. And again. And again.

“Many of our fears are tissue-paper-thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them.” — Brendan Francis

I found those quotes and points so true because if you notice when you move forward regardless of fear that fear seems to become less and less real. I have many fears, one of failure and one of success. However, I find that the more I move forward in spite of my fear, the more I succeed and the easier it is to handle the success; so therefore it cancels out both fears at once! Get it?

Why stop living and doing and being because you are afraid of something? Don’t let your life rot away like that. Just do; don’t die trying!

Be Blessed
