September Holidays
The month of September have several holidays. We all know of Labor day…a day of rest for workers. Although some workers still work (airlines, malls, movies theater’s, etc), many are able to enjoy the day off and relax with friends and family. But did you know that September was also National School Success Month and Women of Achievement Month. I thought those would be good holidays to spotlight since G.O.S.S.I.P. Sister is all for women and education.
As you continue through this month recognize the special women in your life. We often times identify women in history or famous women, but don’t forget to show appreciation to the everyday women in your lives; your mom, sister, friends, aunts, etc. I am proud to be a woman and look forward to thanking the wonderful women in my life.
