Through A Man’s Eyes…
One Shot
We may only get one shot at life, but that doesn’t mean we only get one shot with the things in our life. In life we are given a certain amount of arrows and it’s up to us where we direct those arrows. Some shoot them with no real target; shoot them at the same targets and/or know where to shoot them but try to get a bulls-eye with every shot. Every arrow is a life lesson and is suppose to make us stronger, wiser, and better. Every target we don’t get can be seen as a wasted opportunity, but that is only if you don’t learn from those lessons (arrows). I believe we all, at one point, have no idea where to go or where to aim at. It’s important that at some point we find a real direction. As we get older we realize there will be distractions and obstacles challenging us from hitting our targets. Never stop shooting! You have to endure. One of my favorite bible verses comes from Matthew 10:22- and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. We are suppose have distractions or bad habits to keep us from reaching are ultimate goals. There WILL be people that you know are not good for your life that will only bring you down and keep you from progressing, and we will all become victims at some point; but I’m sure you heard it before “If He brought you to it, He will bring you through it,” even if you brought the it on yourself!
We are not perfect and some people have greater strengths than others, but according to Ecclesiastes 9:11-Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. With God being the Master Archer not only will he shoot the arrows for you but He will give you an endless supply of arrows, and will continually shower down blessings on your life.
God may sit high but He will walk in the deepest, darkest valleys with you too, as long as you keep shooting them arrows and asking him to lead them to your targets.
Inspirationally Yours,
Mr. I.N.S.P.I.R.E.

I whole-heartedly agree. God is our strength and will bring us through anything, even if our mistakes bring the difficult situations on ourselves. He has proven that to me recently! We learn a great deal about ourselves along the way, with each target we miss. But, God does reward our perseverance. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate your inspirational messages?
