Checkout Time
Do you ever get so overwhelmed with stuff that you feel like you are about to “checkout?” By checkout I mean like you are so swamped by life that you can’t reach the shore. I am at the point that I feel it’s checkout time. Something has got to go; something needs to be released in my life. I have a million things to do and accomplish with not enough time to do so. I look at my calendar and it’s nuts, then I look at my alignment of my life and its direction and it’s complex.
I have a big platter of stress on my dinner table. I continually have to pray to God that He takes care of my worries, and I pray for sense enough not to continue to worry after turning it over to Him. Whatever it is that is draining you in life don’t be afraid to cut it loose. If you find yourself way too busy or pulled in every other direction with tasks to accomplish, figure out what’s most important (keeping your well-being in mind) and make the necessary adjustments to do so. When it’s Checkout Time don’t be afraid to admit it and make the necessary cuts.
Be Blessed

Whoo, I needed these words. I am experiencing extreme job burn out. Working with teenagers is no joke!
