Time Waits For No (Wo)Man
I really can’t believe it is already June. It seems just like yesterday we were drinking champagne and toasting to the new year. When January arrived I didn’t necessarily make resolutions, however I did write down 3 goals that I would like to accomplish before 2010 ends…how come I haven’t accomplished ONE!?!? I have not completed one thing on my to do/task list…SMH
Meditating on it for a few days I tried to find someone or something to blame, you know blaming it on something makes it make sense on why it hadn’t been accomplished. But the more I thought about my situation the more I realized it wasn’t something or someone that had distracted me from my goals…it was me! I have been so distracted focusing on other things and reasons why it can’t happen, that I forgot to focus on my goals and making it happen. I once read a quote that said “when you take your eyes off the goal, all you see are obstacles”, I can’t remember who said it but it is THE TRUTH! It is easy to allow yourself to become overwhelmed when thinking about what all needs to be done in order to see the completed project but instead of focusing on what needs to be done, simply do it! (that’s advice to myself by the way J)…I pray you are one step closer to completing whatever it is you started and remember don’t make excuses as to why you can’t…simply do! Until next time…

WOW! You stole the words right out of my head… So true, so so true! It’s crazy to keep up at times when life throws curveballs, but we gotta just dodge them or brush them off and keep striving forward. Our life essentially depends on it! Awesome read. I pray for movement in the lives of all who need it right here and now, in the name of Jesus!
