Single & The City

Checking in yet another month! How’s my single people doing?! There’s always a lesson to learn amongst this journey of singlehood. We learn things about ourselves, what we want out of a relationship, or what we want in a significant other; it’s a never-ending lesson seems like.  I don’t really know what my Single topic should be to blog about this month because I have so much to say yet so little at the same time. Life comes at you fast, and the curveball is always love. I guess one BIG problem many folks have while dating is getting on the same page. None of us are mind-readers, and if you are tell me your secret, matter of fact, I’ll buy it from you! Communication is the most important element in a relationship, yet is the most difficult to uphold. The breakdown of communication can be detrimental to the bond two people share. Communication is not just talking the talk but also walking the walk; so if your words aren’t aligning with your actions- that’s a major communication problem. In my opinion I think this type of communicaton error is the most confusing. Your heart tells you to listen to their words, but common sense tells you look at their actions and see that their words doesn’t mean a thing. Tough game of tug-o-war, if you ask me!

I don’t have a grand “ah-ha!” moment to share with you this month, just a piece of my mind, and I hope you feel me on it. At the end of the day… aw heck, the day just ends! No nifty quote to close out on… Well except for a little one I’d like to think I created the other night on my own-
