Problems & More Problems
I received my regular email from “Higher Awareness” this week, and here lately the messages have really been hitting home for me. I feel compelled to share my findings. This time it points out the significance of problems. We all have them, and there’s no avoiding them, but there’s one thing you may know- How we face our problems determine how big of a problem it is. Your outcome determines your outlook is how I like to put it. Below is an excerpt from the email I received that I would like us all to reflect on.
“What wants to change?”
The problem is not that there are problems. The problem is expecting otherwise and thinking that having problems is a problem. — Theodore Rubin
Our lives really begin to change when we learn to shift our perspective on ‘problems.’
From the spiritual perspective, problems offer our best path to growth. Like it or not, pain gets our attention. Pain also challenges the ego’s perception that it is in complete control of life. This opens the door for soul’s guidance.
If we want to be rid of the pain, we must do the work that leads us to greater consciousness. Paradoxically, we can only get rid of the pain by moving through it.
The next time you feel “poor me,” stop and ask, “What needs to change? What does my soul want me to learn?”
No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. — Source Unknown
What problems have you faced lately, and how have you made changes accordingly?
Be Blessed

I developed this attitude a long time ago. But, it really stuck when I was suffering from my thyroid condition. I was SOOO sick, but all I could think of was how thankful I was that I had not walked out the doctor’s office with a diagnosis that would have left me fighting for my life.
