Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
All things work together for the good of those who love God AND are called according to His purposes. If you are not following the purposes of God, all things do not work as we expect. God has fashioned your life and all the events of your life to lead you into His purpose and to accomplish His purpose in your life. If you are unwilling to follow the call of God, all the prayers of ‘faith’ are meaningless.
