Blessed & Highly Favored
“Blessed and highly favored” may be a phrase you often hear; sometimes it’s taken with a grain of salt, sometimes it’s misused, but one thing’s for certain is that it is often overlooked & overused. To have favor is to receive joy acceptance and grace; favor is grace; grace comes from Jesus Christ. Therefore, when we say we have favor in something or are requesting favor in something, we are actually calling on God’s grace.
To be highly favored, not just favored, yet HIGHLY favored comes with a bigger price tag than we might think. If you look at Mary in The Bible for instance, she was what we call favored. Mary enjoyed companionship with Christ; she exercised compliance to his will; she believed and embraced her commitment to her faith; and most of all she rejoiced and worshiped in the Lord. You don’t have to be a superstar to be favored but you must praise.
Lastly, my friends, we must keep in mind that if God favors you He grants you to do something because faith without works is dead! If you don’t believe it don’t speak it. We have favor because we have grace and we have grace through Jesus Christ.
Be Blessed
