Iron Sharpens Iron
Yesterday I received an email from a friend. It was a daily prayer from Joel Olsteen that said “Iron sharpens iron”. The email went on to say that God made each person different and that when like minded people are in each others presence we are to sharpen one another. We are to enhance and build each other up to be sharp individuals. We are not to try to make people be like us or be jealous of others because we were made different on purpose. The email made so much sense to me so today I am writing to say be cautious of the company you keep because they are either sharpening you to be better or making you dull. The same goes for you; when you are in the company of others support them and encourage them to be better overall. Embrace the different qualities each friend display and learn how you can sharpen them and allow them to sharpen you! Until next time…

This is a message a lot of people need to her because despite the fact that most people have a “friend” they know they should not be friends with anymore, it is soooo hard for people to end friendships. If people really understood the toll toxic relationships have on their life, I think it would make the decision to end the friendship a little easier.
