CHANGE
OK so the only thing constant is change but why is it so hard to do?! Whether it’s changing your attitude, job, relationship, or lifestyle it seems to always be some apprehensive road block in the way. I am guilty of this myself. Its like I KNOW I need to stop chasing my tail and try something different but it goes back to creating excuses on why I shouldn’t, can’t, and won’t which by the way are all negative words according to English grammar. Like Einstein say, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. It is insane NOT to change.
Looking back over my life I can honestly say it was when I changed my outlook on life, priorities, relationships, and even career moves was I able to move forward. I personally think the reason why people choose (because we do have a choice) not to change, is the fear of the unknown. They become comfortable with where they are and what they have. Even though they may not like their situation, they have adapted to it and know what to expect. How often have you heard your girlfriend say “I need to leave ___ but I don’t want to be single or start all over”? I hear it often! They know they’re in an unhealthy relationship; however, they chose to stay because they don’t want to change and try something different. With change comes the question “What if?” What if it doesn’t work? What if my situation becomes worse? When faced with those questions, ask “What if this DO work?!” I simply say if you are not willing to change your situation, don’t complain about it!
It is very important to understand the WORLD is changing. We as Christians can’t become stagnant and comfortable and expect something different to happen. God want us to get out and try. The sky is the limit and there is nothing bigger than God, He is on our side. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us, so whom shall we fear? We have to embrace change and grow and learn with it. Time waits for no man, now is the time to jump on the bandwagon of change. Like Gossiper say, your faith must be bigger than yourself. Trust God and step out on faith. What is it YOU want to change but have put off til tomorrow? Until next time…

Change is always difficult, but accepting the change with the knowledge that God presents some of His most wonderful blessings during these times allows us to view change in a more positive way. It is a time of growth and self exploration. Embrace it and let others see the positivity blossom within you…and they too will want what you have! It sounds familiar…”Let Others See Jesus in You…”
