Lyrically Inclined
A song was brought to my attention that should be included in one of my Lyrically Inclined posts, and after reviewing the words to the song, I couldn’t agree more. It’s a non-traditional song compared to the other lyrics I’ve featured because usually I list a Gospel song; but not this time. It’s a song that encourages you and urges you to believe in yourself. I recently blogged about getting closer to your dreams and inspiring yourself beyond imagination, but you can’t do any of that unless you truly believe you are capable of achieving all that is owed to you. You are well-deserving of great success and blessings, but if you don’t believe that in your heart, it will not be so. Enjoy the lyrics below… “Believe In Yourself,” from The Wiz
If you believe
Within your heart you’ll know
That no one can change
The path that you must go
Believe what you feel
And know you’re right, because
The time will come around
When you say it’s yours
Believe there’s a reason to be
Believe you can make time stand still
You know from the moment you try
If you believe
I know you will
Believe in yourself, right from the start
You’ll have brains
You’ll have a heart
You’ll have courage
To last your whole life through
If you believe in yourself
If you believe in yourself
If you believe in yourself
As I believe in you

I LOVE this song…I failed a test Saturday…it is easy to allow defeat to sneak in and give up but honestly I was doubting myself going in. I have to believe I can and WILL pass, and I know I will second time around. If I don’t believe in myself who else will?

Some people may believe in you, yet have doubts or judge you on your flaws unknowingly, so that’s why we have to believe in ourselves without a shadow of a doubt.
