T.G.I.F.!!!
Thank God it’s Friday!!!!!
We bustle throughout the workweek anxious to get to the very golden moment where we release all our stress and tension through a smile and sigh to holler out- THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY! When something is going dreadfully wrong (like it has all week) we choose to accept it by saying THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY! We wake up in the morning and the moment we’ve allllll been waiting for has arrived- THANK. GOD. IT’S. FRIDAY!
But let’s explore why we should really thank God it’s Friday. For argument’s sake let’s say that Friday is the fifth day of God’s creation week (not all will agree with this, especially those who observe Saturday as the Sabbath; and feel free to challenge me on this blog if you see fit). On the 5th day God created the animals. He made wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along ground according to their kinds (Gen. 1:25). But He wasn’t done yet… He created man in His own image. He said let us make man in our image, in our likeness…let them rule over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground (Gen 1:26).
So indeed, Thank God It’s Friday because it’s your birthday! It’s your inheritance day! The day that God created every living creature that can roam the earth and granted us authority to rule over it all (all in the likeness of Him, of course, not bigger than Him).
So, T.G.IF.! Happy Birthday! Enjoy it! (Then reality check back on Monday, haha).

NOTE: The argument of what day is observed as what wasn’t my main focus of the blog…I was just trying to bring something else to the table beside people just saying T.G.I.F. just because they tired of working…

Good blog – I like how you related the 5th day (the end of our working week) as the day He created man in His imagine. Another reason to be thankful this Friday!
