Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labor
It seems that in today’s times – we are constantly on the go, or should I say on the grow. We are trying to better ourselves, be better mothers, wives, business owners, friends, women, and Christians. I often times forget to enjoy the daily blessings God have afforded me. We are blessed daily beyond reason or measure. If you stop and think for a moment I am sure you can name 5 things you are blessed to have TODAY. The fact that you woke up this morning is a blessing, for not being who you used to be is a blessing, for having a sound mind is a blessing, the list can go on and on. Of course we get down and things don’t always go our way, but there is still a daily blessing that should be appreciated. Don’t take them for granted. I personally am learning to enjoy where I am while on the way to where I am going. I also have to remember I am exactly where God wants me to be at this moment in my life. Enjoy your blessing and be thankful. We may not be where we desire to be, but we are closer today than we were yesterday. Don’t lose focus but take time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. It’s okay to pamper yourself for a day, take a day off and do absolutely nothing. Enjoy a nice vacation or dinner with friends. Work very hard to achieve the goals you aspire to have but play just as hard. It gives us a balance and the ability to appreciate all the hard work. Share stories with family because once they are gone, they are gone. God gives us blessings to enjoy…so enjoy them, its that simple. What is the purpose of achieving your goals and dreams, then unable to enjoy them? Life can be very tough but take a moment to enjoy where you are today. Enjoy what you have accomplished thus far. Time waits for no (wo)man, enjoy family, friends and success today because tomorrow is not promised. Until next time…
Be Blessed

This is so important. Sometimes when I think about all that I need to do, have on my plate, or want to accomplish in the future, I literally have a panic attack. I get this sense of urgency and I find myself bustling through the week and before I know it, a month’s gone by so I get even more anxious, and then when I look up the year is almost over! It’s so important to just take a time out and relax. Take each day at a time and as you say, enjoy the fruits of my labor. Today is all we have because tomorrow is not promised. Great post!

Great post! When thinking about what I am grateful for, I immediately started to think of tangible things such as a job, etc. But my immediate thoughts weren’t the things such as a sound mind, etc. Without being awaken this morning, having a sound mind, health–none of the other things matter
