The Workout Plan
Hello Divas!
There are a number of things you can do outside of a gym, so don’t think you have to get a membership at your nearest 24-Hour Fitness. Simple things such as lunges and squats in your living room every other day could make a major impact on the overall appearance of your thighs. Let me stress work out your thighs only every other day because putting strain on your legs daily could cause a lot of damage and discomfort. The abs, however, are strong enough to handle a daily workout. An exercise that can tone both abs and thighs are “6 inches.” Lie flat on your back and lift legs all the way up then slowly drop them until they are 6 inches from the ground and hold in that position for 10 seconds. Repeat 10 times, or however much you can handle.
Don’t think of exercising as repetitive and boring either. I read that it’s good to create a workout plan that has a mixture of exercises to give a full body workout, and plus so you don’t lose interest in the same-ol-same. Mix up your workout regime with workout videos in between going to your apartment or community gym. Yoga videos, kick-boxing, and other fun videos such as “Belly Dancing” or “Hip-Hop” workouts add excitement to toning your body.
Be consistent and don’t get discouraged when results aren’t instant. If and when you get bored that means it’s time for a change; try something new to stay in shape but don’t quit. When I get bored with working out I dance. No, I am not talking about going to the local bar and hitting the dance floor either. Ballet, modern art, and interpretive dance have all been a great toning mechanism for my body, and it’s also my passion, so that makes it fun for me!
Summer isn’t over yet! So you still have time to acquire the toned up look you desire! Have fun!
Be Blessed

These are all good points. I have the “Belly Dancing” video and Wii fit however I have to admit I haven’t used either as often as I need to. I read in a magazine (Good Housekeeping) that doing household chores for at least 30 minutes can also burn calories such as mowing the lawn, vacuuming, making the bed and or changing the sheets, folding clothes, mopping, walking and up and down your stairs, and thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Who knew that cleaning house could also help you get in shape

I work out at home anyway. I just know that if I have to actually drive to a gym, I will not make it there
