Time For Everything

After witnessing the death of a legendary icon, Michael Jackson, I was really saddened; deeply, to the point where some people may not understand how you could mourn a person you never met. I am not going to get into that, I already dedicated a blog to my sentiments on that. However, as I was going through my different emotions with it, it made me think of the passage, “There’s a time for everything…” After I rose out of my initial shock, I mourned the “Great Loss,” then after that I began celebrating the life there of.

Life is all about seasons, reasons, and timing. There is truly a time for everything. Don’t question it, just know it is happening or happened for a divine reason to last for a divine season, and allow yourself to ride through each phase that life brings you. When you mourn, feel free to mourn, but when joy comes, rejoice. Don’t allow yourself to be tied down to one point of time either; that’s not what it’s designed for. That’s how people become depressed, because they allowed their spirit to stay sad longer than what was required and it consumed them. Remember, there’s a time for everything, and your time will come and it will pass!

Ecclesiastes 3 (NIV)

1 There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

Be Blessed
