A “Great” Loss
It’s not like I saw Michael Jackson in the media doing great every day; or listened to his music every chance I got; or not even that I was anticipating his next album a great deal, but when he died it just made me realize that I’ll never see him again… No more albums, no more concerts, no more comebacks… It’s over.
And they say you don’t miss something until it’s gone…
Now when I listen to his songs it’s like listening with ears that will never hear again.
Now when I watch his videos it’ll be like watching with eyes that will never see again.
I wasn’t ready for that, but when would we ever be ready for death?
Death is so uncertain even for someone who is dying; you just don’t want it to happen, and especially not to our great ones.
Say what you will about MJ, but he was great. A humanitarian. A pop superstar. A trendsetting icon. A legend. An inspiration to many. The reason I wanted to be a dancer & performer one day.
What greatness do you plan to leave behind?
Rest In Peace King of Pop

Words fail me at this time – Michael Jackson was a TRUE super star and music genius beyond his years. Althougth I never personally met him, his music lived in our home throughout my child hood. My dad (being from Chicago which is 45 minutes from Gary, Indiana) have ALL of his CD’s including the Jackson 5 albums. I purchased the 25th anniversary edition of Thriller the DAY it came out. I am so sadden by the loss of such a true performer but also thankful that I had the opportunity to witness his music magic in my lifetime. Trust my grandchildren will know who Michael Jackson is. During this time – please take a moment to tell someone you love them, forgive someone, hug someone, kiss your spouse deeply and passionately for you never know how long you have and you never want to take their presence for granted. I love you ALL sisters – I really do. I ask that God give his family and fans peace and comfort as he is now in a better place. Rest In Peace Michael Jackson – may your music live on for lifetimes to come.

The world is still in total shock. It was just so sudden and unexpected! With Farrah, people had time to prepare, not with Michael
