Life can be demanding, one battle after the next. When you have conquered such obstacles you may wonder, how DID I make it through that one. The best part is hearing a whisper saying, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”. So even the toughest struggles, aren't to great. Ladies, lets not neglect our spiritual growth. Believe it or not, that's where we began to get answers to all our questions, desires, and worries.

I love this, you guys never cease to amaze me!!! Be blessed, and stay strong.

Kim,
First I thank you for your comment and also your insight. It's always appreciated.
Ok, let's see...I acted by faith. I actually changed my way of thinking after I read my Bible that day I had the "breakdown." It was the "faith of a mustard seed" verse (Matt 17:20) amongst many others that just really hit home for me. You know, at different times of your life, the same scripture you've read can mean something way deeper at another point of your life. Another verse that really hit home for me was Romans 5:3-4 "...suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; character, hope...Hope does not disappoint us..."
My "Corner of Positivity/Encouragement" serves as my reinforcement. I acted by faith and stopped crying over spilled milk; I put my trust solely in God. I also stepped up to the plate and met Him half way and stopped wallowing in pain. It's a hard ongoing process. But I just keep thinking of that mustard seed! =)

Gossiper,

My pastor, Reverend Dr. Lee E. Cooper, Jr., said this of faith, and I quote, "Faith isn't faith until it's all you're holding on to." We very seldom experience faith in this form due to all the blessings and angels God places in our lives. Similar to what you've expressed, we talk about BEING faithful, yet only LIVE it when there's nothing left to for US to do.
It sounds like your "Corner of Encouragement" represents how you began to think differently. How did you begin to ACT according to the spiritual changes you've made? Any words of encouragement on how we might put our faith into action and apply our own "Corner of Encouragement" to daily living?

Truely Inspired,

Kim B.
