I have a bad habit of procrastinating. I mean I will wait until the LAST minute to get something done. Why is that!?!? I really don’t know but I have realized that it only makes it harder for me in the long run. I am learning that being prepared is key! They say success is when preparation meets opportunity. I personally like that saying. Keep reading »
Praise Break: A moment in the midpoint of the week just to stop and pay reverence, and seek encouragement to get us through the remainder of the week.
Romans 1:17
17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

One Shot
We may only get one shot at life, but that doesn’t mean we only get one shot with the things in our life. In life we are given a certain amount of arrows and it’s up to us where we direct those arrows. Some shoot them with no real target; shoot them at the same targets and/or know where to shoot them but try to get a bulls-eye with every shot. Keep reading »
I received another inspirational email from Higher Awareness and this one really touched my spirit! (If you haven’t subscribed to their daily emails you need to do so! Food for the soul). What do you think about yourself? How do you value YOU? Forget about how ungrateful people can be; ignore when you feel taken for granted; truly focus on your own thoughts towards yourself… This email from Higher Awareness made me do just that: Keep reading »
This past weekend my husband and I had the pleasure to host a mini family reunion at our home. My brother who is a Major in the US Army and sister in law who is a Command St. Major came in from Korea. That alone caused for grandparents, nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, mama, etc to migrate to our home for a great weekend. And what a great weekend we had. We cooked, sang songs, reminisced, took pictures, competed in a human maze, and went bowling. We had a good time. Keep reading »

Who can separate us from the love of Christ?
The answer is simple- NO ONE!
Romans 8:39 says that neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Keep reading »

Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Be Blessed
Today, I had a strange feeling of sadness creep over me, like a cloud; it was almost omnious. I learned that someone I knew was pregnant and expecting to give birth in a couple months, and someone else I knew was killed. Receiving news like that almost simultaneously made me realize that life is full circle. Unfortunately, for more than half the circle (journey around), we take life and things we love for granted.
Everything comes full circle. We live and we learn. Life being too short is much more than a cliche’, it’s a reality for me.
Be Blessed
